Well Known Early Reader Books

Get Out and Explore!

Are you looking for something to do this weekend? Do you want to try something new? Do you have a desire to explore a new location? Recently, I discovered a wonderful website that publishes about upcoming activities, events, things to do for free, etc. There is something for everyone, from the outdoors enthusiast to museum lovers to sports fans to theatrical production goers. 

Utah Valley offers a variety of things to do! Venture out and try something new! Who knows, maybe you’ll pick up a new hobby! If you enjoy art, be sure to stop by the BYU Museum of Art or the Woodbury Art Museum at Utah Valley University; or stroll downtown Provo the first Friday of every month. If you are an enthusiastic sports fan, there are numerous athletic events throughout Utah County. If you love writing and want to share your creative talents with others, come on down to Enliten Bakery on Thursday nights at 7:30 pm! Sign-ups start at 7 pm and it is FREE! Enliten Bakery is located at 43 East Center Street in Provo. If you are interested, you can look at their facebook page.

VITA: Your Financial Resource to Help You Keep the Money You Earn

Once again, it’s that time of year, tax season has arrived. Does filing your taxes by yourself seem like a daunting task? Are you unsure of where to start? Do not fear, VITA is here! The Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program offers free income tax preparation for individuals or families with an annual gross income of $53,000 or less during 2014.

There are numerous locations throughout Utah County offering this service! One of these locations will be at the South Franklin Community Center located at 770 South 700 West in Provo. IRS-certified volunteers will be at the community center on Thursday from 5-8 pm starting February 5th until April 9th.  If you are interested, call 2-1-1 and make an appointment today!
