Happy St. Patrick's Day!
After the soccer games this past Saturday the Welch family from Heber put on an amazing St. Patrick's Day party at the community center. They decorated the whole center with green streamers, gold coins, shamrocks and leprechauns and came prepared with a variety of fun games including musical shamrocks, hot potato, tossing bean bags of "gold coins" into a black cauldron and more. The kids were all very engaged and had a blast. They made shamrock necklaces, did shamrock mazes and even decorated shamrock shaped cupcakes. Everyone left with prizes, treats and smiles. A huge thank you to the Welch family and their friends for creating such a memorable experience for the kids in our neighborhood!

Let the Season Begin!
Last Saturday we had our first pre-season Soccer Scrimmage and it was so much fun! It was a little chilly outside but everyone was way too excited to stay home. Tons of parents and kids came out and played with fellow teammates. Our volunteer coaches also came to help divide the kids into teams and referee the games. The whole event was made possible by supportive parents and dedicated and enthusiastic volunteers. A big THANK YOU to everyone who is and will help with this soccer season!
We are still looking for volunteers to keep score and to referee games! Email us at sfccboulders@hotmail.com if you are interested!
Practicing their skills!
We know what position he will be playing!
